CWPCA Logo ContestTHIS CONTEST IS NOW CLOSED. The CWPCA Board of Directors has approved a competition to find the best image for Canada’s wood packaging industry, and we are looking to our members for help. On a standard piece of paper, quickly sketch your concept, note your email at bottom, and fax toll-free to 866-375-1835. A committee will select the best five concepts and then ask you to spend some time to refine your concept before it is printed in our newsletter. At that point, members will vote on the logo which they feel is best for our future, and the winner receives a free registration to our June annual meeting in Ottawa. Your logo design should reflect the following concepts:
You do not have to be a professional artist; we’ll handle the final graphic production. You don’t even need to know how to draw, if you have someone in your family or on your staff with that talent. You can submit more than one design. Deadline for receipt of concept sketches is February 28, 2011. In the unlikely event that no concept (or final) design is acceptable, the Board reserves the right to retain the existing logo until we try this competition again. CWPCA will not be responsible for reimbursing any costs for your submission. The winning entry agrees to assign ownership of the design to CWPCA for a nominal $1. More CWPCA News & Events |
